Black Rice (Manipur Origin)

The uniqueness of the 'Chak Hao' black rice of Manipur is its pleasant aroma coupled with stickiness which is not common in other black rice varieties grown in other parts of the world. We've been using this rice in our culinary creations for more than 5 years. We use it in various foods like kimchi, sushi, rice, appam, dosa and idlis. We even serve it alongside soups or curries.
